After a disappointing weekend of hockey, Chicago is in Colorado tonight to take on the Avalanche at 8:00 pm CST on CSNC. The Hawks look to rebound after losing 3-2 at home to Minnesota on Sunday, and 6-0 at Washington on Friday. Tonight the Blackhawks face a weak Colorado team that only has 27 points this season (13-27-1). It’s safe to say that tonight is a must-win game for Chicago¬†if they consider themselves to be Stanley Cup contenders. Here are the expected lineups for both teams:

Chicago

Hartman-Toews-Panik

Panarin-Anisimov-Kane

Hinostroza-Kero-Hossa

Desjardins-Rasmussen-Schmaltz

Keith-Hjalmarsson

Kempny-Seabrook

van Riemsdyk-Rozsival

Corey Crawford (16-10-3, .921 SV%, 2.49 GAA)

Colorado

Rantanen-MacKinnon-Bourque

Landeskog-Duchene-Nieto

Comeau-Soderberg-Iginla

Colborne-Mitchell-Grigorenko

Tyutin-Barrie

Goloubef-Zadorov

Beauchemin-Gelinas

Semyon Varlamov (6-16-0, .901 SV%, 3.31 GAA)

There isn’t much to be said about tonight’s game. Chicago needs to wake up from their annual winter slumber and start to compete every night. Look for a strong response from the Blackhawks after being disposed of this past weekend.

Prediction: 3-0 CHI

POTG: Corey Crawford
