The Blackhawks won a huge game in Minnesota last night, proving that they can take down any team in the league if they stay focused enough. Due to unfortunate circumstances (exams), this post-game will be a brief one. After leading 2-0 in the 2nd period (Hartman, Schmaltz), the Blackhawks coughed up their lead (Spurgeon, Parise) only to regain it again with a late goal in the frame (Panik). The Wild would tie the game up with three minutes left in regulation (Haula). The Blackhawks, with the help of Corey Crawford, found the net in overtime to win the game 4-3 (Toews). Crawford was excellent, Toews was excellent. The Blackhawks play in Winnipeg tomorrow night at 7:00 pm CST. Again, sorry for the brief recap, Friday’s post-game will be as usual.
